Chateau and Estate Classic Wine Panels
Average Dimensions: 19" L X 6" H
Price: $11.00 each
Description: This style of wine panel is the long side of a 12 bottle wine crate. The wine crate is dismantled and the Chateau & Estate panel is removed, inspected and hand-sanded multiple times to a smooth texture. This process prepares the panel for a first coat of any type of finish. Immediate installation is also an option.
Countries they're from: Almost exclusively Bordeaux and Burgundy vineyards
Artwork/designs: There aren't any pictures or designs on Chateau and Estate panels. They display either importer information or winery details and text.
What they're used for: Clients generally purchase large quantities of wine panels to cover the walls of their wine cellars. Our private wine investor clients purchase mostly Collector panels because they're interested in the wines and their designs. Our business clients often purchase both types together. Collector's panels are a bit more expensive than the Classics, so there's a cost savings when doing a project with part Collectors and part Classic. The project also becomes a very unique montage. Below is a picture:
The above picture is the Ritz Carlton penthouse in Houston Texas. The project is a mix of both Collectors and Chateau & Estate wine panels.
By mixing both Collectors and Chateau & Estate, they were able to produce a one-of-a-kind wine themed display, where the room itself became art. There's never been anything else like it, and every project with Chateau & Estate panels is in a league of it's own.

Cakebread Cellars
Winery: Cakebread Cellars
Country: USA
Region: Napa Valley
Production: Approx. 75,000 cases per year
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon
Crate design: Just about every Cakebread wine box is 6 bottle size with a slide-top lid. Three of the four sides have a highly detailed picture of the respective Cakebread single vineyard, and a deeply engraved Cakebread logo of a delicious looking bunch of grapes.
Rarity: Extremely Rare. Collector value on Cakebread wine is high and most investors purchase whole cases that include the wine box. You'll find filled Cakebread wooden wine boxes in private cellars, but they usually stay there forever!
Crate designation: Exclusive Class ($100.00)
Our opinion/history: Cakebread is a highly rated Napa Valley winery with a production model somewhat similar to Burgundian wineries. The winery has several sites around Napa that have single vineyards. The single vineyards of Cakebread are substantially larger then most wineries from Burgundy but the outcome is more or less the same: Somewhat different soils and grape varietals with a similar, but slightly different method used on each vineyard.
Focus on quality is huge for Cakebread. Grape varietals change every year based on the grade of the grapes. Even though a fairly large amount of cases are produced every year, the fine details aren't ignored.
As far as the wine box, Cakebrad is beautiful, rare and very sought after. Most are 6 bottle slide-top style with deeply branded and high detail designs on all four sides and lid.

Almaviva
Almaviva 6 Bottle Flat Wine Case
Winery: Partnership of Baron Phillippe Rothschild and Concha Y Toro
Country: Chile
Region: Maipo Valley
Production: Approx. 10,000 cases per year
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Crate design: Fairly detailed and engraved on all four sides and lid, The Almaviva design carries their unique brand logo and mediterranean style lettering in a modern font. All Almaviva crates are either 3 or 6 bottle sized flat wine cases
Rarity: Rare. Almaviva produces highly rated and popular wines. Most investors who buy a case add it to their collections
Crate designation: Collector's Class ($40.00)
Our opinion/history: Almaviva is the collective brand of the finest winemaker in history (Phillippe Rothschild) and the best winery in Chile (Concha Y Toro). The grapes are from Bordeaux and the vineyard is in Chile. Almaviva is extraordinary, and their productions have never rated lower than 90 points since Almaviva's inception in 1997.
The look of the crate matches the wine as it's extremely unique. The decorative value is high because the entire piece is branded on every side and lid, making it perfect for any kind of presentation.

Production: Overall production is very large, and Louis Latour is the prominent wine maker in Beaune
Grape: Like most famous Burgundian wineries Louis Latour harvests on single vineyards. The primary grapes harvested for the Louis Latour wine collections are Pinot Noir and Chardonney
Crate design: Possibly the most highly detailed wine crate there is. The long side of the crate has an intricately engraved picture of the original estate, and 3 other sides which are branded as well.
Rarity: Uncommon. Even though Louis Latour is a large producer, the majority of their wines stay in France.
